How to measure head size
Head size (circumference) is the core hat size metric. Measurement method: use a soft tape measure around the widest part of the head (typically 1-2 cm above the eyebrows), keeping the tape level. The measurement is the head size. Common size range: S (54-55 cm), M (56-57 cm), L (58-59 cm), XL (60-61 cm).
Crown shape classification
Classic western hat crown shapes: Cattleman (center dent, suitable for everyday), Gus (tall crown wide brim, suitable for branded collections), Open Road (narrow brim tall crown, suitable for fashion lines). Classic Panama crown shapes: Fedora (flippable brim, business casual), Optimo (center crease, formal occasions), Cuenca (round crown, everyday wear).
Brim width selection
